I work in applied algebra, finite fields, cryptography, coding theory, and number theory, with a particular interest in pure mathematics that helps solve concrete problems.

My research is currently supported by the National Science Foundation under CAREER grant 2338424 and RTG grant 2342254.
I am an associate editor for Advances in Mathematics of Communications and the Journal of Number Theory.
Research
My main interests are arithmetic over finite fields and number theoretical questions motivated by computer science. I am especially interested in coding theory and cryptography problems where number theory plays an important role.
